Privacy Policy — Slamkeep
Effective date: 15 October 2026.
1. Who we are
The game Slamkeep is published by an individual. Contact address for any question about this policy, message reports and data deletion requests: support@slamkeep.com.
2. What data we collect and why
| Data | Purpose | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Nickname (up to 18 characters) and a 10-digit player number (UID); the UID is visible to other players | Showing you in the game, finding and adding friends | You enter the nickname; the server issues the UID |
| Email address (only if you sign in by email) | Sending a one-time sign-in code and recognising your account on later sign-ins | You enter it |
| Sign-in code as an irreversible signature (the code itself is not stored), attempt count | Verifying the code; limiting code requests | Server |
| Guest account: a random secret created on the device; the server stores only its hash | Signing in without email | Device |
| Session: hash of the access token and its expiry (30 days) | Keeping you signed in | Server |
| Profile: chosen avatar, frame, title, emote and hero collection, appearance settings, statistics and recent matches | Running the game | Game |
| Currency and wallet operation journal, in-game shop purchases, battle pass, quests, achievements | Rewards and balances | Game |
| Rating, season results, league place | Ranked matches and seasons | Game |
| Friends and friend requests, status "online / in battle / offline" | Friends list | Game |
| Chat (section 3) | Messaging between friends and group chat | You |
| Feedback (Settings → "Report a problem"): topic, text (up to 2000 characters), game version, platform and interface language. If "Attach technical log" is on (on by default, can be turned off), also up to the last 200 lines of the game log and device details: model, OS, graphics card, memory size, screen resolution, graphics quality, game screen and the current match (mode, room code, map, wave) | Investigating a bug or a suggestion | You; can be sent only after signing in |
| Automatic error and crash reports: error type and text, call stack, a cleaned tail of the game log, game version and build, device model and OS, graphics card, memory size, screen resolution, graphics quality, language, game screen and the current match (including the room code), a random per-launch number. Email addresses and tokens are removed from the log; your nickname and UID are not included | Finding and fixing errors and crashes | The game sends them automatically to our server, also before sign-in. If you are signed in, the report is linked to your account |
| Moderation: a log of moderator actions (UID, action, time, moderator, reason) and bans (category, term, internal note) | Reviewing reports and rule violations | Server, moderator |
| Acceptance of this policy (version and time) and consent to news by email (yes or no, time of the last change) | Confirming that you accepted the policy; sending news only with your consent | You (window on first launch, Settings → Account) |
| IP address | Rate limiting (no more than 30 requests per minute, no more than 20 error reports per hour); processed in server memory and not stored in the database | Network |
The game does not ask for your real name, phone number, location, contacts or photos, and does not use the device advertising identifier.
On your device we store: the access token and guest secret (in the system's secure storage, not in ordinary preferences), the nickname and the selected server address. Conversations are not written to the device's disk. The device also keeps diagnostic files: a queue of unsent error reports (up to 50 files, at most 1 MB) and the log tail of the last launch. They are deleted after sending and together with the game.
News by email. On first launch the game shows two checkboxes: acceptance of this policy (required to enter the game) and, optionally, consent to receive game news by email (updates, events, beta tests). News is sent only to a verified email address, so a guest account without email does not receive it even if the box is checked. You can unsubscribe at any time: turn off "News by email" in Settings → Account or use the "Unsubscribe" link in any news email. Declining news does not affect the game; sign-in code emails still arrive.
Third-party services. The game contains no third-party ads, analytics or crash reporting: error reports and feedback go only to our own server; Unity's built-in analytics and diagnostics services are disabled in the project settings. There are currently no purchases for real money in the game. If they are added, this policy will be updated.
3. Friends chat
- Who with whom. Private one-to-one messages, only between friends. Group chat exists only inside a group lobby (below). There are no public chats.
- What can be sent. Text (up to 300 characters) or an emote from your collection. Emoji from the phone keyboard are removed.
- Filter. An automatic filter replaces prohibited words with asterisks. The already filtered text is stored and delivered.
- What is stored. The server stores the message (sender, recipient, text or emote, time) and the read status. Messages are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Group chat. Group messages are seen only by its members from the moment they joined. They are kept only in the server's memory while the group exists (the last 50 messages) and are never written to the database; a copy of a message is stored only if someone reports it.
- Who can see it. In a private conversation, the sender and the recipient. Message content is not shown to third parties except the operator when reviewing a report. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted; between the game and the server they travel over a secure connection (HTTPS/WSS), which the server requires in production.
- Report. Tap another player's message and choose "Report" (reasons: "Insults", "Spam", "Other"). We keep a copy of the message, its author, the reporter, the reason and the time until the report is reviewed. After reporting, the game offers to block the author.
- Block. Blocking removes the player from your friends, cancels requests between you and hides the conversation. The blocked player is not notified. The blocked list and the "Unblock" button are in the Friends window, "Requests" tab.
- Chat restriction. After reviewing reports, the operator may restrict a player's chat for a period. The player can still read their conversations.
Moderation
Nicknames are checked by an automatic word filter when an account is created and when the nickname changes. To review reports and violations we keep a moderation log: account UID, action (warning, chat restriction and its removal, ban and its removal, nickname change with the old and new nickname, granting or deducting in-game currency, report review, account deletion on request), time, moderator and reason. For a ban we keep its category, term and the moderator's internal note; the banned player sees the category and the term, but not the note.
Rules of conduct: zero tolerance
Insults, harassment, threats, discrimination, sexual or other objectionable content, spam and fraud are not tolerated in chat. We review reports and take action, including restricting chat and, for repeated violations, the account. To report abuse, use the "Report" button in the game or write to support@slamkeep.com. Report review time: within 72 hours.
4. How long we keep data
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Chat messages | 7 days, then deleted automatically |
| Message copies kept for reports | Until the report is reviewed |
| Sessions | Up to 30 days; expired ones are removed by an hourly cleanup |
| Sign-in codes | Up to 1 day, then deleted |
| Wallet operation journal | 3 days by default (server setting), removed by the hourly cleanup |
| Account, profile, friends, blocks, rating, seasons, battle pass, achievements, purchase receipts | While the account exists; after a deletion request, 7 days, then deleted (§ 7) |
| Policy acceptance and news consent | While the account exists; deleted with it (§ 7) |
| News mailing list at the email service (§ 5) | While you are subscribed; after unsubscribing or deleting the account the address is removed from the list before the next mailing |
| Feedback | While the account exists; deleted with it (§ 7) |
| Automatic error reports | 30 days (at most the last 20 reports per error); deleted at once with the account. Only an anonymous summary of each error is kept longer: text, stack, number of occurrences and game versions |
| Moderation log, lifted and expired bans | 90 days |
| Active bans | While in force |
| Database backups | 14 days; deleted data may remain in backups until then |
| IP address | Not stored in the database |
| Server logs | Contain technical error messages (for example a room or match number, participants' UIDs). Retention: up to 14 days, after which entries are deleted automatically |
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell data and do not share it for advertising. Only providers needed to run the game process data:
- server and database hosting: Timeweb Cloud (Russia), servers located in Russia. It stores all data from § 2 that is kept on our server;
- sending sign-in code emails and news by email: Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France). It receives your email address, the message text and, if you subscribed to news, your nickname. Brevo itself handles unsubscribes made through the link in an email;
- receiving mail sent to the contact address and hosting the slamkeep.com website: Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). It forwards your letters to us and does not store them. When you open the website, Cloudflare technically processes your IP address to deliver the page; the website uses no cookies and no visitor analytics.
We may disclose data where the law requires it.
6. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you know that a child under 13 has created an account, write to us and we will delete the data.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction and deletion of your data. You can change your nickname in the game. Signing out ends the session on the device and on the server.
Deleting the account in the game: Settings → Account → "Delete account", then type the word УДАЛИТЬ ("delete"). The account is frozen at once: you are signed out on every device, friends see you as offline, and messages and friend requests are not delivered to you. After 7 days the account is deleted for good. Until then it can be restored: sign in (a guest on the same device, an account with e-mail by the code from the letter) and press "Restore account".
Deleted: the account (nickname, e-mail, UID), the profile and progress, the currency and its operation journal, the collection, purchase receipts, the battle pass, quests, achievements, the rating, season results and your League places, friends and requests, chat messages, read marks and blocks, sessions and sign-in codes, consents, feedback, error reports linked to the account, and bans. The email address is also removed from the news mailing list (§ 4). Kept: moderation log entries with your UID but without nicknames (up to 90 days, § 4); anonymous error summaries; data in backups (up to 14 days). Kept without any link to you: message copies in reports (until the report is reviewed) and League results of other players that are already final (their places and the League size do not change).
If you cannot sign in, write to the address in § 1: for an email account, from the address you sign in with; for a guest account, with your nickname and UID (shown in the game in the Friends window and in your profile). Response time: up to 7 days.
8. Security
Connections to the production server use HTTPS/WSS only (the server rejects plain connections outside development mode). Tokens and codes are stored on the server as hashes and on the device in the system's secure storage. Request rates are limited. No system is perfectly secure; report security problems to the contact address.
9. Changes to this policy
When the policy changes we will update this page and the effective date. We will announce material changes in the game: on the next launch the game will ask you to accept the policy again.
10. Contact
